*INFORMATION FOR LOCKDOWN 3.0:

Due to current UK government rules for lockdown 3.0, we are unable to offer riding lessons, and the stables are closed to the public. If you live locally, you will of course continue seeing our horses being exercised and schooled daily. In keeping with British Equestrian Federation guidance, our livery owners/ sharers can continue receiving one-to-one coaching with their own horses, where it is safe to do so. We hope to be able to welcome you all back to the stables very soon.  (Updated  Thursday 14th January 2021).

Lesson Bookings

We are currently unable to take any new clients at the moment, and will update this notice when we are able to begin accepting booking enquiries. When bookings open again, please use the form below. For our existing young riders, we are unable to teach children under 12 unless they are experienced and riding independently. For all other enquiries, please call the stables on 020 8948 6201 between the times of 8:00am and 4:00pm, or email Minette at minette@art-of-riding.com. We look forward to hearing from you. Ham House Stables are certified by the ABRS for Covid-19 Safe Working Practices.

(If you are making an enquiry for more than one rider, please let us know each of your heights).
(Please note we currently have a 75kg maximum weight limit for our riders, due to the available size of our lesson horses).
To help us with your booking enquiry, please let us know some of your preferred times and days for a lesson. Adult lessons run daily from 8:15am through to 3:00pm, with each session lasting 45 minutes (e.g. lesson times are 8:15am, 9:00am, 9:45am etc.). Children's lessons last 30 minutes. All our new riders are taught on a private, one-to-one basis. Weekend lessons are in high demand, so we recommend booking well in advance. We regret that we are unable to accommodate 'same day/ drop in' bookings. For up to date information on lesson prices, please visit the 'Prices' page on this website.
